Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Jeffrey began his performance career as a cellist and singer. He made his theatrical debut as Ryan Evans in “High School Musical,” and it wasn’t long before he was invited to perform in Scenebot Stage Live’s 2019 talent competition. After his performance, Jeffrey realized his true musical passion, switching his studies from instrumental performance music to theater in preparation of taking his career to the next level.
In 2020, Jeffrey was cast in HBO Max’s “Home School Musical: Class of 2020," a special created by Broadway star Laura Benanti where he was given the opportunity to share his final senior showcase performance with millions of viewers. Following this, he was cast in the first public workshop for the musical adaptation of “A Wrinkle in Time,” produced by art incubator New York Stage and Film. In 2022, he joined the first national tour cast of groundbreaking, award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen” as the Evan Hansen alternate, making multiple appearances on stages around the country.
Jeffrey is now a New York-based actor, appearing regularly on the famous Feinstein’s/54 Below stage and supporting the growth of young artists through his work with Entertainment for Change.
