Bio:

After a childhood of casual performing for friends and family, Canadian actress and singer Laura Alfeskie made her on-screen debut in the 2015 Family Channel’s “Big Ticket Summer Concert.” Now determined to pursue her lifelong passion, she began studying acting in Toronto and Los Angeles and was soon cast for her on-screen debut in the film “Black Widow Killer.”

In 2019, Laura won Scenebot’s international acting competition and was flown to Los Angeles to perform in Scenebot Stage Live’s showcase, leading her to sign with the manager that would take Laura into her breakout years.

Since 2021, Laura has been working with some of the top directors across film and television, building her credits with supporting roles in Netflix’s “Painkillers,” (directed by Peter Berg of “Friday Night Lights”) and CW’s “In the Dark.” It wasn’t long before she began securing starring roles, including Fran in Lifetime’s “Our Mother’s Secret Affair,” and Rebecca in “The Daughter I Gave Away.” Most recently, Laura was cast in “BET,” a live-action adaptation of the hit manga “Kakegurui,” coming to Netflix soon.
